It seems this feature isn’t planned, either now or in the future, but it’s crucial for our agency. We resell to radio groups and have had success over the years. However, we’ve gradually started losing radio stations because, from their perspective, having their app icon visible on the car dashboard via Android Auto and Apple CarPlay is essential. It’s one of those small but important details for radio stations, as 90% of their listening now happens in the car.
Over the past six months, this issue has escalated, and we’re now at a point where we may have to move all our apps to a new provider if this feature won’t be supported. This could lead to losing all our clients, which isn’t an option for us. I urge you to please consider this feature, even if it requires a custom development cost.
