CarPlay Compatible

As an AM radio station, high-quality audio streaming through our mobile app is essential for our listeners. Recently, we have received frequent inquiries from our audience asking whether our app supports CarPlay CarPlay compatibility would greatly enhance the listening experience, as many users rely on CarPlay for safe and convenient audio access while driving. Without CarPlay support, it becomes less convenient for our audience to tune in through the app, which directly impacts listener satisfaction and engagement. Given the importance of CarPlay for our listeners, we would like to understand whether CarPlay compatibility can be supported or added to the app. If CarPlay integration is not feasible, we may need to consider alternative providers that can meet this requirement. Car Play and Android Auto

It seems this feature isn’t planned, either now or in the future, but it’s crucial for our agency. We resell to radio groups and have had success over the years. However, we’ve gradually started losing radio stations because, from their perspective, having their app icon visible on the car dashboard via Apple CarPlay is essential. It’s one of those small but important details for radio stations, as 90% of their listening now happens in the car. Over the past six months, this issue has escalated, and we’re now at a point where we may have to move all our apps to a new provider if this feature won’t be supported. This could lead to losing all our clients, which isn’t an option for us. I urge you to please consider this feature, even if it requires a custom development cost.
