Date format on email confirmation

Currently when receiving the date of events from forms that are submitted to our apps, the date format is in USA format. (This isn't the date format within the form, just in the email confirmation). For EU and UK admins, this can be really confusing. It would be great to format email confirmations in the same way our account settings are formated to avoid any of this confusion.
