Document sharing

Hi, I've had a good few clients ask about secure document sharing... for example, if it's a school and a teacher needs to send a specific permission slip to a specific parent, and the parent needs to sign it and send it back. If this can't be coded just now, does anyone have any suggestions on how to get around this, that's more streamlines then just sending an email (or contact form)? Many thanks.
