Link a section to WordPress pages and not to articles

Good morning, I would like to link a section to wordpress pages and not articles. Currently, this function is not available, we can only select articles. However, when it is a showcase site with a description page per subject, the WordPress "article" format is not appropriate. Can you envisage this improvement in the near future? thank you
